Spark is revolutionizing how we see the human species. A call to return to our evolutionary roots; to get in sync with our metabolic design honed through eons of survival to optimize mental and physical health. In 1998, two independent schools in Lexington, Kentucky, began a collaborative partnership with an idea and a plan. The plan was to bring a parenting speaker to
Lexington, primarily for the benefit of our parent bodies, and also to work with our faculties and provide a forum open to the community at large. That partnership has evolved into the Unity in Education Lecture Series.
Celebrating its 10th year in 2009, the Series is funded by administrative and Parents’ Association funds. Speakers are chosen and the event planned by a committee comprised of volunteers from both schools. The Series benefits from strong administrative support and enjoys attendance ranging from 150 – 500.
